Issue No. 247 · Confirmation / Friday, 6:00 a.m. Central

One click and you're on the list.

You're about to receive the Bichoto Blog Weekly Brief — a single long-read that lands in your inbox every Friday morning. Long-form only. No roundups. No "top 5 tools" lists. No sponsored placements. Just one piece of writing, fact-checked against original data, with the underlying CSV attached.

Section 01 · Delivery

What shows up in your inbox every Friday.

Before you confirm, here's exactly what arrives — one piece, one subject, one CSV in the appendix. No bundles, no surprise threads, no upsells.

  1. 01

One long-read, every Friday at 6:00 a.m. Central.

A single essay averaging 2,400 words. Past subjects have included post-mortems on the HBR "growth loop" framework, a teardown of the Shopify MRR dashboard, and a 9,000-word audit of a Series C fintech's north-star metric. If we publish more than one piece in a week, something has gone wrong.

  2. 02

An original CSV appendix with every chart.

Every data visualization in the issue is hand-built by the editorial team — never auto-generated — and the underlying dataset is published alongside the post. Readers have used our CSVs in court filings, internal board decks, and at least one academic paper on attribution modeling.

  3. 03

A reading time stamp and a one-sentence abstract.

The subject line tells you the topic. The first line of the email tells you the thesis. If you only have ninety seconds, you can decide whether the piece is for you without opening it. We respect the cost of a tab switch.

  4. 04

A link to comment and correct.

Every issue ends with a reply-to address that goes to a human editor. If we got a number wrong, we publish a correction at the top of the next issue with the original and revised figures side by side. The corrections log lives permanently at the bottom of our About page.

Section 02 · The negative space

What you will never receive from us.

We are asked, often, what Bichoto Blog isn't. The list turns out to be more useful than the feature pitch. If any of the items below would have been the reason you subscribed, this newsletter is not for you — and we'd rather you know that now.

No sponsored placements, native ads, or paid newsletters. We have refused six-figure offers from three SaaS vendors since 2022. The masthead has never run an advertiser.
No "top 10 tools" roundups, no affiliate links, no referral codes. The publication does not earn a commission when you buy anything. We have never published a product recommendation we could not defend on the data alone.
No AI-generated charts, summaries, or analyses. Every figure is hand-built by the editorial team from primary sources. We have a public rule against LLM-generated visualizations and we publish the source code for our charts.
No re-engagement campaigns, win-back sequences, or "we miss you" emails. When you unsubscribe, you are removed from the list within one business day and we do not email you again from any address.
